Over the years, the faculty of University of California San Diego and National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU) have conducted joint symposia and collaborative research projects. While the previous two symposia were held in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, the 3rd UC San Diego-NSYSU Bilateral Research Symposium will convene in La Jolla, California on March 24-25, 2017.

The Program will consist of a Plenary Session on the first day followed by three breakout sessions on the second day. These breakout sessions will focus on Photonics and Materials, Marine Science, and Social Sciences and International Studies. There will be a student poster session in the afternoon, following a keynote session right after lunch.

Join us at the 3rd UC San Diego-National Sun Yat-Sen University Bilateral Research Symposium to learn about the research and collaborations between the two universities and network with research leaders in the fields of photonics, oceanography, social sciences and global policies.
