In the northwest corner of the complex is Cafe Ventanas, a full dining facility overlooking a large open Green that stretches between freshman residence halls on the west along Torrey Pines Road and apartment facilities on the east.
In the southeast quadrant of the complex is UCSD International House which is managed by ERC for the campus and features apartment housing for 240 international and American students, a Great Hall, seminar/meeting rooms, and offices.
In the northeast corner of the complex is the ERC Administration Building, which also houses the Institute for International, Comparative, and Area Studies (IICAS) and the International Studies Program, as well as the Center for Comparative Immigration Studies (CCIS) and the laboratory for Forced Migration.
In the ERC Administration Building you will find the following ERC units: Provost's Office, Business Office, MMW Program Offices, and Teaching Assistant Suite, Academic Advising, Student Affairs Dean's Office, and Psychological Counseling offices. The building also houses a large conference room; a commuter student lounge (with lockers and kitchen) and two general purpose Academic
Computing Services computer laboratories for students.
ERC's neighbors on the east include RIMAC (UCSD's Recreation and Interamural Athletic Complex),
The Institute of the Americas, and the Graduate School of International Relations and Pacific Studies. On the south are the Pangea Parking Structure and Thurgood Marshall College. On the west across Torrey Pines Road, is the new Estancia resort hotel, and on the north are parking lots and the future site of the Rady School of Management.
