TMC honors the enduring memory of a wonderful colleague and chief business officer for Thurgood Marshall College, Ginnah Saunders. Ginnah had been with TMC since the beginning of the decade and she gave tremendous energies to our college, our campus, to UJIMA, Black Staff Association and other major organizations. Prior to Marshall College, Ginnah worked in fiscal affairs for UCSD Music Department and the Political Science Department. Her dynamic leadership each college commencement was always part of her distinctive signature. In her amazing vibrancy, warmth, and charisma, Ginnah touched our lives in profound ways. She was a magnificent wife and mother. She passed away Sunday April 20th at 4:20AM with her family by her side. All prayers and condolences to her immediate family and friends. A tribute was held in her honor May 7 at the Marshall College Courtyard adjacent to the Marshall College Administration Building.
